Let , suppose a electric conductor for example - we suppose a electric conductor wire , when we connect this wire through electric current supply , then it will hot and after some time it will produce Energy in heat form . this effect is basically known as thermal effect of electric current .
● why the conductor become Hot -
When current pass in a conductor then free electron move in opposite side to current .
Due to the wires having electrical resistance, which means that they resist the motion of electrons, the electrons bump into atoms on the outside of the wire, and some of their kinetic energy is given to the atoms as thermal energy. This thermal energy causes the wire to heat up..
ohm law ...
I = flowing current in conductor
R = Resistance of conductor .
If Resistance are less then flowing current more.
In other form we can say that , If the resistanc of conductor is low then current will flow more in the conductor , otherwise the Resistance of conductor are high then current will flow less in the conductor .
●Example of thermal effect -
Electrical Bulb :-
Electrical bulb is a general example of thermal effect , in Bulb uses tongueston filament for light emitting . The melting point temperature of tongueston(W) filament is 3380℃ . It is very high melting temperature . So due to hight melting temperature we use tongueston (W) in electrical Bulb .
When current pass in electrical bulb then tongueston(W) filaments become Hot due to resist motion of electron in filament after some time it produce heat energy and light energy , but in thermal effect we discuss only heat energy .
Some other example of thermal effect are , Electrical Fuse , Iron , ...etc.

We can say it , Heating effect of electrical current .
When current pass in conductor it will hot and after some time conductor will produce heat energy or thermal energy , in thermal effect electrical energy convert into heat energyElectrical energy → Heat energy

ohm law ...
V = IRV = potential difference on conductor terminal
I = flowing current in conductor
R = Resistance of conductor .
Resistance is a fundamental factor of conductors which resist the flowing current or motion of election, in conductor . It is represent by R.If resistance are more , then flowing current less .
If Resistance are less then flowing current more.
