Concept of Force and Inertia , Types of Inertia

Force :: if we do attention in our daily life then we feel many forces , such as when we walk on surface then we feel fraction force and when we fall a object above the surface of earth then feel gravitational force , when we drown any object in water then we see Bouncing force and we feel some other forces in daily life .

Force is the factor that causes the object's resting state, state of motion, changes in its shape, or attempts to change,

In other the force is the factor that , we apply force on any object then it's present state changes , or can changes.

Types of forces :: In general physics force are basically two types .

➤Field force
➤Contact force

1. Field force :: In these type of force , in between the object contact is not necessary called field forces.
Such as , gravitational force in two objects and electrostatic force between charge particles , and with them weight of any Body is included in this section of force.

2. Contact force :: two object in contact apply equal or opposite force on each other , if two object contact is frictionless then contact force are perpendicular on common surface .

If objects are in rough contact and are free to move relative to each other without leaving contact, a friction force arises which opposes such motion , Again each object exerts a frictional force on the other and both forces are equal opposite, it is perpendicular to the perpendicular reaction.
Contact force are two types in between two object.

◆ perpendicular / Normal reaction ( N )
◆ force of friction ( F )

The both force perpendicular each other

Therefore      ,.   F = √( N2 + F2 )

Inertia :: the means of inertia is stability . the concept of inertia was given by sir , Galileo .
According to concept of inertia , every object want to remain in present state whenever any external force does not work on it .

In other way we can define moment of inertia , Every object wants to remain in its state of rest or motion and opposes the change in its state. For this reason external force is required to change the state of the object. This property of object are known as inertia .

So . The inertia is property of any object thant , Because of which they oppose the change in their rest state and speed state .

Types of Inertia ::
In general physics inertia are three types .

➤Inertia of Rest
➤Inertia of Motion
➤Inertia of Direction

Inertia of Rest :: The property of object that , because of which the object opposes the change in rest state, these types of inretia are known as inretia of rest.

We can explain inertia of rest an example -
When we fire a bullet from gun on a glass the then bullet penetrate the glass , but when we throw the a stone on a glass then glass brakes.
Have you think , why does this happen , ❓

Explanation -
Due to the high velocity of the Gun's bullets , the bullet is very short time in contact with the glass when it hits the glass.  Therefore, only that part of the glass causes rapid movement and a bullet-shaped area is formed in the glass and the remaining part of the glass remains in its place at rest due to the inertia of the glass.  As the velocity of the stone decreases, it stays in contact with the glass longer.  Due to which the remaining part of the glass also becomes moving and the glass breaks.

Inertia of Motion :: The property of object which oppose the change in the motion of object are known as inertia of Motion .

We can understand an example -
When suddenly stopped by a moving bus or any vehicle the passengers sitting in it would lean forward .
          Why does this happens ❓

Explanation -
A passenger in a moving bus or any vehicle als speeds at the speed of the car.  The lower part of the passenger's body which is in contact with the vehicle when the bus or any vehicle stop suddenly.  The car stops fast.  But the upper part of the body moves with the same speed of inertia of motion.  Causing the passenger to lean forward .

Inertia of Direction :: The property of object which oppose the change in direction of object are known as inertia of Direction.

We consider an example of inertia of Direction
When a bus or car is sculpted in a curved mode, the passengers sitting in it start falling outward due to the inertia of the direction.

- If a stone is tied with a string and it is rolled in a circular path, then when the string breaks, the stone will move in the linear direction.

Explanation -
At any point on the circular path, the stone moves in the tangent line.  Strings tension drives her along the circular path.  When the string breaks, the tension of the string becomes heard.  Therefore, now the stone does not move on the circular path due to the inertia of its direction.
