Before read this concept , we will know about Newton second & third law of motion
➡️ Law's of motion
If the external force acting on a body is zero, then the entire linear momentum of that body remains constant over time.
We can say that , Therefore, in the absence of external force, the linear momentum of different particles of a deflected body may change but their vector sum remains unchanged over time.
■ We can easily understand conversation of Linear momentum by example of rocket ::
The initial momentum of the rocket is zero on its launch plane when the rocket is launched from its launch site. The gas present in the combustion chamber rapidly escapes downstream. Therefore, by the law of momentum conservation, the rocket moves upwards.

The speed achieved by the rocket after all fuel combustion is called final move. This move is the maximum speed achieved by the rocket.
